If you just got a boss of a buck, a beast of a bear or even stumbled upon a road casualty, I can work with you to preserve a wonderful skull or European mount for your home.
It is very difficult for me to design a set price for each different species of animal because there are so many different situations that the specimen can be in. The most expensive it will be is with the fur and everything intact. It gets slightly cheaper when it is skinned because it can basically go straight into the beetles if need be. It will also be much cheaper if you have prepared the skull in any way like I described in the De-Fleshing example page on my website. This is when most of the flesh and the other aspects of the head that the beetles don't enjoy eating are taken off. Also some individuals have stumbled upon skulls already semi cleaned by natural elements and just want it degreased and whitened for showing. If this is the case, then it is much cheaper and faster.
European Mounts
One of the two styles of wood mounts that I offer. The other is the typical flat against the wall European mount. This mount some people find more visually appealing because it presents the skull out from the wall for people to see. It can also be set up to stand on a coffee table or shelf by flipping the middle angled piece of wood.
If you have brought down a trophy buck and would love a pearly white mount then I am sure we can work something out. It is extremely important to me to leave everyone pleased with the interaction to the point that they would recommend me to a friend. I also truly enjoy this hobby and only plan to offer skull cleaning to pay for a little bit of my supplies and future larger plans for presentations. Therefore, it will either be the same price or cheaper than anyone else that offers these services. If you find a professional cleaner that compares to my prices, let me know and we will work out a new agreement.
I am also not against working out a relationship of cleaning and mounting for other specimens that I can keep. Since I do not hunt or trap myself, it can be difficult for me to get different skulls for presentations in schools. I have many relationships with trappers and hunters where I clean one or two for them and then get to keep others for myself. If you would rather just pay for the mount to be done, I can do that as well, and would ask for a picture of the antlered animal to help me gauge the work needed to prepare the specimen for you.

These are much easier to work out pricings for my services. I am happy and anxious to work on skulls of any size, small or large, from a bear or antlered animal all the way down to a mouse squirrel. I can professionally clean your specimen for display in your home. Instead of having a piece of nature it will become a clean visually stimulating display skull. I am happy to work out a relationship with customers in that I clean skulls for them and they let me keep others if this is something that interests you. Since I am not a licensed trapper and I do not hunt this is very beneficial to my presentations. I have many arrangements like this with trappers and hunters right now and they work out well for both parties every single time. I will also soon have a gallery of pictures opened up for you to see on this site to show what these skulls looked like after being cleaned. Please contact me with the skull that you would like cleaned and possibly a picture of it with a ruler to aid my ability to gauge the sizes of the specimen. We can go from there to design a payment plan or option that we are both happy with.
